06.08.08 - IT'S BEEN AWHILE...

Hello again, hello. Well what else can I say right now but it's been a really bizarre, enlightening, enrapturous week. I'm loving life right now. (Shhh....I can't really tell you here).

MOVIE OF THE MOMENT: Iron Man. Incredible special effects, decent plot, great actors and action. If you haven't seen it yet, stick around for a special treat AFTER the credits roll. If you're a comic geek, you won't be disappointed.

MUSIC OF THE MOMENT: Bitter:Sweet's Drama. I'm a sucker for electro-lounge music. This sophomore release by the great duet brings up more luxurious, martini-sipping goodness. Lovely.

"There is one place you have not looked, and it is there - ONLY THERE - that you shall find The Master." One of the greatest quotes I've ever come across in a movie. (+20 points if you can tell me the film). It sounds cheesy, but when you watch the film it makes total sense. (Hint: it was a 80s martial arts film.) Solve that riddle, and you will find happiness throughout your lifetime.

MOVIE OF THE MOMENT: ONCE - One of my favorite films of all time. Romantic, heart-wrenching, poignant, and non-pretentious. This story is beautiful in its simplicity. No huge sets, no big movie stars, no Hollywood ending. Just a story about two lost souls who find hope and redemption in one another. Beautiful.
